Salam Kenal Bli (dr) Eka. Rasanya akan lebih akrab jika saya memanggil Bli Eka saja. Wah ternyata Bli Eka juga teman lama Pak Warih. Warih adalah guru saya sejak SMP lalu di Teater Lingkar. Tan Lio Ie juga guru saya lainnya. Sayangnya saya tidak sempat bersentuhan dengan Umbu Landu, padahal keinginan untuk berburu ilmu sangat besar.
Saya perlu banyak belajar tentang membedah tubuh atau jiwa pada Bli Eka……… Jika mungkin mari kita bedah WAKTU bersama!

Yes. I saw him yesterday and his condition much better than before. I have treated him for a few days with inflammation around palm of his right foot which punctured by sharp thing more or less 2 month ago. Surgery (incision and drainage) was perform although not much of pus and necrotic tissue were found.
Actually.. in the beginning, beside the patient complained pain on his foot, he also suffered from fever and base on my examination that fever was not fully correlated with pain and swollen on his right foot palm because he got respiratory tract infection as well. So far that infection was recovery but still seem bit oedema around the surgical wound and not clear any fluid or pus in palpation.
I decided to wait for 3-4 days now to observe that inflammation will decrease or not with oral antibiotic. If there are not improve, incision will be executed in the second time.
As conclusion, I suspect that case result from infection in punctures wound by common bacteria, could be caused by secondary infection, poisoning of the material thing or foreign body fraction still inside the tissue. And I don’t suspect at all that case suffered from specific bacteria like tetanus.
So.. I think you and his parent do not need to be too worry in facing this case.
Prognosis is good. We hope he will be fine soon….
